Driving out of Little Rock we were lucky to find this place! The location is overshadowed by a pizza spot that shares the building and after not finding it even listed on yelp we scratched our heads and explored inside because if there was one thing I remember about Arkansas it was that they know how to do BBQ! I was with two co-workers and we all tried something different and all left happy and will full stomachs. I went with the pork jumbo combo with baked beans and slaw. They add slaw to the sandwich and it is just the right amount and tasted great. They have two barbecue sauces being warmed up in the dinning area and the sweet and tangy was homemade goodness! Someone else in the party ordered the beef jumbo combo and was very impressed by the quality of the meat and like me felt like the beans and slaw were great choices. Then the final person in our party went with the turkey sandwich and enjoyed it too. People working were very friendly and even though the place was packed, there were plenty of seats and the food came quick. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend you stop by for some great BBQ!

I stopped in with students to grab my first taste or AR bbq. Living in TX people are religious about bbq so I was wondering how much pork is in AR q. I ordered 2 sides, fries and green beans with my half order of pork ribs. The fries were ok, the green beans meh and the cut in half hamburger bun seemed a poor attempt at white bread. I didn't eat it at all. I was saving room for ribs. All in all the ribs were ok. I wasn't impressed, certainly not blown away and found them to be slightly dry. They were meaty enough and had some smoke flavor but nothing about the bbq made me want to wax poetic. I'd eat here again but I'd prefer to try other places around town.

Been around since my dad (63) was a kid and are still open for a good reason. Great BBQ and they're sauce is some of the best around!

Came in on a Saturday night about 7:30....first thing I heard was the kitchen yelling "we're running outa everything!" Not what u want to hear right? After a couple of questions about what was still available, I ordered the half rack of dry rub pork ribs and 2 sides, which were baked beans and 'tater salad. Bread was a burger bun halved and slightly toasted. Came with a small drink cup. About 10 minutes later, time to eat! Started with the beans, which were standard from can but with their seasoning and some bell pepper. Very good, so good I ate them before I took the pic, oops. On to the ribs, took first bite sans sauce. Perfection on the bone. Pulled clean with minimal effort. Great amount of smoke. Opened the sauce, vinegar based with paprika and what looks like burnt meat scraps. Perfect flavor enhancer for the ribs. Warning here, dip the bread in the sauce and the vinegar overpowers, so keep it on the meat. Lastly, the 'tater salad tasted homemade, great amount of peppers in it, lil bit mustardy for my taste, must be a local thing. Paid abt $11, worth every penny.

Got two racks of ribs, beans, and slaw. Beans and slaw were very good. Ribs are very smoky and sauce is good with a vinegar base that is slightly tangy. Ribs a little dry and chewy and the meat definitely does not fall off the bone. Back to Whole Hog next time, their ribs can't be beat.
